Learning DOESN’T have to suck!
Learning is something that we all do from the first moments of our lives without much thought and for most of us, without much difficulty. Designing learning for others, however is a TOTALLY DIFFERENT STORY. It’s something we are often required to do professionally, with the assumption that because we have learned, we know on some level how to teach. We turn to time honored tactics and strategies that we assume must be right, and struggle with finding success. Throughout the last almost twenty years, I have designed learning experiences for a number of audiences, from K-12, through Higher Education and Corporate Training, each with its own set of unique challenges and lessons learned.
